How to celebrate Children's Day? Come and visit us at the gallery.
We have a programme at the Telegraph Gallery offering a range of activities inspired by the current Transylvanian Painting Today exhibition for children of all ages. The event will include creative workshops where we will explore how a painting can become a story and a story can become a painting.
Transylvania is a land shrouded in myths, legends and mysterious stories, and it is this atmosphere that we will draw on throughout the programme. Children will use drawing, collage and other art techniques to create their own fantasy creatures, places or story scenes inspired by Transylvanian legends. The program is designed to not only entertain the children, but also to develop their imagination, sense of storytelling and creative thinking. Children will take away their creations and colouring books with themes from our past exhibitions will also be available.
Admission is free for children and chaperones. Creative workshops will be open from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
