The guided tour of the exhibition Signal V: A Selection of Objects and Installations from the Robert Runták Collection will be led by the owner of the collection and Telegraph, Robert Runták. He will exclusively introduce not only the exhibited works, but also the overall concept of his collection to Telegraph club members.
The Signal exhibition series represents a long-term curatorial project by Telegraph Gallery based on the interpretation of the Robert Runták Collection. Each installment offers a different perspective on a private collection through newly defined curatorial principles — it can be a thematic definition, a time period, a specific medium or a differently determined concept of selection. The cycle also creates a probe into contemporary collecting and the broader context of domestic and international contemporary art. Signal V: Selection of Objects and Installations from the Robert Runták Collection focuses on the presentation of dominant, solitary and iconic works such as Plumber by Krištof Kintera, Heat Wave by David Možný, Billboard by Jiří Příhoda, Helmets by Milena Dopitová.
The guided tour will offer not only a look at the exhibited works, but also insight into the collecting approach and the context in which these works were created.
Please note, the event is exclusively for Telegraph Club members!
