If you visit the Telegraph Gallery regularly, you will know that our programme goes beyond the gallery space. In addition to long-term exhibitions, there are pop-up exhibitions in the cinema and the loft throughout the year, as well as residencies by Czech and international artists, which always end with an Open Studio in their studio. In addition, you can look forward to lecture series focused on the work of contemporary artists, the work of curators, and contemporary art collecting in collaboration with collectors, gallerists and curators.
In May, our gallery is really alive! You can look forward to the continuation of the Game Owner exhibition, an evening with the legend of Czech sculpture Michal Gabriel, the Czech premiere of the documentary GOOD BOY from Slovakia followed by a discussion, an open door during the Olomouc Museum Night and a guided tour connected with the launch of Jakub Janovský's catalogue.

Czech premiere of GOOD BOY from Slovakia + discussion with filmmakers 15 5 2025 / 20:00
Michael Bukovansky's short documentary follows painter Andrej Dúbravsky during the preparations for his Olomouc exhibition GOOD BOY and places his personal story and work in the context of the current social situation in Slovakia.
The film shows the contrast between the artist's quiet life in nature and the growing wave of homophobic and hateful statements coming from some politicians. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
