In her latest directorial effort, which is reminiscent of her successful film The Holiday of Peace, Danish star Paprika Steen tells a warm, engaging and humorous drama about old friends coping with life's changes. A group of old friends gather at a New Year's Eve party to enjoy an evening of reminiscing and reminiscing, as is their tradition. But one of them is missing: Martin, who died years ago in a tragic accident. Nomi, his ex-partner, introduces her new boyfriend Finn to the friends for the first time. But Finn doesn't quite fit in with the others, and he asks a lot of inappropriate questions because of his own social awkwardness. It forces the group of friends to face truths they have long been reluctant to talk about and to reflect on their relationships - and, more importantly, on themselves.
