Sex-positive comedy. With the end of monogamy in a relationship comes excitement and passion, but also complicated emotions. An independent romantic comedy about the unpredictability of love. Love is a tangled problem in this Finnish dramedy about the complexities of modern relationships and the midlife crisis, which director Paula Korva made as her feature debut. Jane (Iina Kuustonen) works for a travel agency where she sells people dream adventures, but in her personal life she is firmly settled and happy with her partner, actor Mikki (Riku Nieminen). Jane lives under the assumption that their love is rock solid - and so she is shocked when Mikki proposes an open relationship in an attempt to spice up their love life. Jane initially resists the proposal, but is persuaded to attend a sex-positive party called Love Island. It starts as a mere experiment, but soon takes an unexpected turn: one of the couple falls in love with a third person. After a smooth start, a flurry of emotions erupts, forcing Jane to take a hard look at her relationship and life in general. WONDERFUL FEELINGS is a timely, witty and honest story, exploring the diversity of love and the complex but liberating process of finding one's own path to happiness.
