The TTalk debate series in cooperation with the District Chamber of Commerce invites interesting personalities from the world of business, culture and public life to the Telegraph.
The guest of the May TTalk will be Filip Raclavský. A Haná personality with a wealth of experience in various fields, from working in the police and on international missions to artistic work. He has been involved in the implementation of the witness protection programme in the Czech Republic, coordinated a project aimed at helping victims of crime and has also worked with children at risk. As he says about himself, he has experienced and seen a lot; the good, the sad, the bad and the tragic.
He has been painting since 2004, when he was no longer able to just keep his ideas and creativity in his head and began to put them on canvas. In his earlier paintings, Filip was primarily concerned with geometric symbolism (the Alliance series, Against, Divided Society and others).
Pilip's current compositions are composed of contrasting areas of colour, where bold and expressive brushstrokes are clearly evident. The paintings themselves then blur the lines between foreground and background, and between the dreamlike atmosphere of an imaginary world and reality. Visitors to Olomouc had the opportunity to see his contemporary work throughout April at his solo exhibition at the Caesar Gallery.
Filip Raclavský is a member of the Union of Visual Artists of Olomouc. He currently lives and works in Velké Týnec.
Moderated by Radim Kašpar (District Chamber of Commerce) and Robert Runták (TLGRPH). Musical accompaniment is provided by our bandleader Tomáš Vyšinka and his guests.
Programme subject to change.
