He doesn't look like he's going to live to see a respectable jubilee in 2026, and there's no sign that he's about to hang up his clogs. On the contrary. Hurvínek is going to the cinema. The popular theatrical performance of Fairy Tales for Hurvínek, which has had nearly a thousand performances, is heading to the cinema screen in a quality the world has never seen before - filmed on seven cameras, with surround sound and dynamic editing to make the footage attractive to today's children. What remains are the tribal characters and the timeless values of the play. Audiences can look forward to seeing not only Hurvínek, but also Spejbl and Mánička. And if, like the simple-minded street urchin, anyone thinks that fairy tales are for little ones, they are sorely mistaken.
